Vilas and Oneida counties

Any info on Northern Wisconsin counties of Vilas and Oneida. Last time I was up there, about 20 year ago, police and fire were on Vhf simplex. Still the same or is trunking playing a part up there.?

As of last autumn, what is listed in the RR database is accurate. Most everything is still on VHF. The big change is law enforcement is P25 encrypted. You might remember when Vilas LE was using DES/AES occasionally (I don't remember which it was). State is on a VHF trunked system.

I have a house in the Minocqua area, both O & V counties are analog, but NOT 100% encrypted. Some (very few) units and dispatch are clear. I have video to prove this as well. I am using a ws1080 while up north.
