New talk group for me popped up hearing a lot of activity today 4/30/25 at approximately 10:15 am. Sounds like some type of law enforcement doing a search with a dog. Is anybody aware of what this talk group might be?
What was your location when you heard this? Gville NC?
As "Raleighguy" said, "Very possible that TG is in the UNC system range of TGs"
I'm in Morehead City....I'll keep my ear open....

So sorry RaleighGuy....don't know what happened in my brain but I was searching for Viper TG 60696 and ran across what I posted that you said BUT you were talking about another TG!
SORRY for the misquote!
Here's a follow-up on the traffic I heard along with Two of the radio IDs that I was able to get. Definitely some type of LE operation with a dog looking for a fugitive who was captured. RID's 521216, and 511904. I've tried to investigate these but I've come up with nothing?

Since you are in Morehead city, can you check to see if VIPER tg 60682 and 60683 come up? Those are the Durham VA groups and I had special permission during planning and construction of the VA Greenville Healthcare Center to extend both of the those talkgroups to both the Greenville HCC and the Morehead City CBOC (community based outpatient clinic). VA has a federal police presence at both locations and they should be using those routinely. They should have the Durham radio traffic and be fairly busy. I had several Motorola APX6000 radios on my desk and used to listen to them when I was at work.
