So I saw this posting topic and now I offended.....I resent the fact that RR, Upman & Uniden didnt contact me personally to and read all these comments to me and THEN respond on my behalf for free. How dare they release alll these comments and not include EVERYONE that owns a scanner, sees a scanner, heard of a scanner, or thinks of a scanner in this topic....you know in high school, if this happened, I would have taken them outside for a good lashing, no all all of you apologize.

i'm less concerned with the LSM issues addressed by the SDS100 and more concerned with its abilities to make Julienne Fries.

Mobile Version of SDS100

The mobile version will be capable of cooking HAM & Cheese Hot Pockets. Until it's released, the guy with the lathe can bore and tap your SDS100 with a built in GPS and a hot air popcorn maker.

I don't know about you all, but my Unication G1 makes waffles, but wait there is more. It decodes P25 Phase 5, and FirstNet. I'm thinking of divorcing my wife because it is so good. Radio shack should learn from Unication and just do what they do.

Please wait, I have to go to the bathroom with my Unication pager for some quiet time. be back later.

Loving my 436 but it's having a bastard of time controlling my TV. I've been pressing all of the buttons vigorously for over an hour and my TV is still off. Any ideas? You think it might need a bath maybe? Heating up some water now, I'll fill everyone in on the outcome.

Uniden will be offering an upgrade to allow for the making of waffles on the SDS100. However, you can only make waffles while charging. You cannot make waffles and operate the SDS100 at the same time. I am sure I will get complaints about this.

The upgrade will cost $250. However, we must pay a substantial royalty to Eggo for the grid pattern used on the waffles. I am sure I will get complaints about this.

Meanwhile, Whistler includes the waffle maker option for free. However, the waffles are completely flat and must be eaten conventionally. I am sure they get complaints about this.

Actually, I find the 536 to do a better job, over clock it, hook uo to 24volt and it will fry pancakes, and bacon.

So the Whistler actually makes pancakes while calling them waffles, but none of the Whistler fanbois will ever admit to it, and even if they do they'll claim that free subpar pancakes are better than expensive real waffles anyway 😂

Then people who work at a Waffle House and receive waffles for free as part of their job will humble brag about how their $10,000 waffle maker necessary for their job does a much better job than the SDS100 and no matter what Uniden does it wont compare to “the real thing” and not some “toy”

Shortly after that a few people who bought those same waffle makers used on eBay from sketchy listings shipped from China will ask how to make waffles like Waffle House even though the model they bought used is missing parts, duct taped together, and has the wrong power plug that requires a dangerous, unsupported modification that could make their waffle maker useless. This work will require treading into several legal grey areas obtaining resources needed to complete said modification.

Finally a group of self-indoctrinated forum police will use pseudo-legalese to claim that even owning a used Waffle House waffle maker is illegal and tell them to go look elsewhere for directions. This will be ignorant to the fact that the modifications are already covered elsewhere in the forums and many other places on the internet. During the time threads are filled with “don’t do that posts” they are also filled with “The Uniden SDS100 makes fine waffles, just buy that” posts.

By the time everyone figures out how to do the mods in a safe and repeatable manner no one cares about waffles anymore and the cycle repeats itself as Waffles Houses are replaced with 7-Elevens and people begin their quest to make hot dogs like 7-Eleven.

LOL Paul wins with that reply! Also, I see the other thread was locked with no explanation. Interesting. I guess they got tired of reading the posts (mostly complaints, bickering, and the like).

Eggo Royalites Out of Control

Eggo can get away with those high royalties because they have the best batter. Independent laboratory testing showed Eggo's batter was preferred over Krustease in side by side P-25 testing.

I am offended by this thread.

In the future, all upgrades to scanners should be for only carb free items.

Then I will not be offended by this thread.

That is all.
