Hey all,
Going through Vicksburg the other night I noticed that the county MOTO system was showing an ID of 6536h-0001, 6536-0002, and 6536-0003. I did not think that Type 2 MOTO systems show an ID. I know the P25 systems do. Is this the existing MOTO system ID or is this part of up coming changes to this system. I just don't remember seeing this display before. It may have been there and I don't remember it. Any body know??

Found the answer. It is the Hinds county system. However, I'm almost positive I saw an 0003 site but Hinds has only one site. Besides, I've never picked up Hinds that clear in Vicksburg. Must have been some tropo ducting going on as it was very strong. Had me fooled. Never mind.

Technically Hinds has 3 sites that are part of it. The original Hinds Simulcast, the City of Jacksons addition which is an simulcast, and the expansoin sites for additional coverage. Not only is Warrens 3 sites going to MSWIN, but also the Hinds systems, with the only exception being the newer City of Jackson P25 which is the upgrade of the old EDACS 2 site system.
