Water Resistant Bluetooth Remote Speaker Microphones (RSMs) That Work With The Unication G4/5

I know in the past there has been discussion of Bluetooth speakers in general and, specifically, Bluetooth Remote Speaker Microphnes (RSMs) that will work with the Unication. I am looking specifically for water resistant, Bluetooth RSMs that will work with my Unication G5. Does one work pretty much like another? I have been using Zello on my smartphone and, if I get a device that would work equally well with my smartphone AND the Unication, that would be a plus.

And before anybody posts it, I know the microphone won't work with the Unication, that is not a concern of mine. Also, I would only use it for one application at a time. Either Zello on my Samsung S9 OR the Unication G5, not both at once.

And, yes, I know I can Google it, and I have, I also know Amazon carries them, I am interested in hearing from anybody that has used them and can tell me how well they work.

I wonder about the BT profiles loaded into the RSMs, and if they would be able to be used like you want.

I use a Plantronics Voyager 5200 with a custom-molded ear piece. Water resistant (very) and multi-pairing capable.
I use this extensively, daily paired with iPhone Xs. Amazing to be able to hear/talk with a caller at a concert, on the boat, in a convertible...

THIS! I eagerly await your report. I know Klein makes some quality gear and inquired about this a while back. I know back then the Unication BT was deemed not compatible. I know the Klein wired and amplified RSMs have been a hidden gem for LOUD scanner audio and it'd be awesome if the BT version turns out to be a success.

Unfortunately the Klein Blu RSM does not work with the G4 or G5. I emailed Unication and they said they would look into it.
I suspect its not an issue with Unication but rather a limitation or BT profile setting the Blu RSM has set. Basically i dont think the Blu RSM is backwards compatible with BT v2 that Unication uses.
It does pair and work with my KNG2-P800 (although PTT does not work, which is fine as i use it as a scanner).

How does the Klein Blu sound on the KNG?

Klein said they will note it and follow up with me once they get their tech position filled.
My G4 paired with a Jawbone Jambox BT (BTv4) Speaker and worked well. So i feel its more of a Blue RSM backwards compatibility issue. Im hoping they do follow back up and maybe we can find a way to tweak their software to be more backwards friendly. Just a hope. Till then maybe someone will try other BT options and follow up.
The Blu RSM does work well with my KNG2-P800.

OontZ speakers pair up immediately! Ive been through so many different speakers testing them out. Most dont like to connect.

So with recent firmware updates to the G4 i re-tested my Blu RSM and it now does pair and work with the G4.
