You need to purchase a digital key to activate the waterfall feature after updating the firmware. Go to

myUniden - Customer Product Registration and Support Area

to register your scanner and purchase the key (setup an account there if you don't already have one)... the key is issued to you almost immediately.

Then download this PDF and follow the instructions at the bottom of page 1 to enter the digital key into your scanner...

I did my 100 and my 200. In retrospect, it was a waste of resources for me. After playing with the function for several days, I haven't used it since.

Is this a typical Waterfall display

Anyone else's waterfall display acting differently? I have not done a firmware upgrade, but my waterfall display is frozen on the top portion of the screen but still flowing on the bottom section. So a signal will peak and show on the bottom portion flowing down, however, the peak remains frozen in place and will sit there showing signal when no signal is coming through. Strange.
