waterloo region school schooting

Good day,

This afternoon between 12 and 1 i was listening to the waterloo region police feed. Twice there was an announcment that there was 2active schootes inside a school. Forgot the name. All officers were requested to respond. A few min later, I heard an officer advising dispatch she was on scene. I could hear some screams in the background. There wasnt much traffic about the shooting on the feed. Officers prob switch to a tac ch. Now im trying to find a news article about the shooting but can't find a thing. What happen to the school shooting? False alarm? Prank?

Either Obama blacked out all news, or NRA did.

Most likely training. This would of made the news here if it really happened.. The following article mentions the force would be doing this type of training until mid April.

It’s part of training Waterloo Regional Police will be doing until mid-April with all front-line officers, teaching them to take down hostile shooters in a variety of settings.

I live near where they're training and yes this is indeed a training scenario on the special events 2 channel.

They now use the name "Range Road Mall/School" on the open channel after they were heard using the name of the main mall here.
