I have a BC 785D with the Bearcat E-SCANNER SOFTWARE. The correct USB to RS 232 DB-9 cable. I can't get the scanner to see my computer. I've changed the com port setting several times. The auto-configure starts up and then goes to never never land. Could it be the software does not like Windows 7 ???? Is there any other bugs that would hang this software up?

You already have a thread in the Uniden forum. Granted that thread was started because you hijacked someone else's thread and your off topic posts were split off to their own thread; however, you have only two posts on the site so far and both have required moderator attention.
