Nice catch, Larry. 33.94 114.8 is Hyannis Fire, a simulcast of their actual operations frequency of 868.2125. All lowband FD activity here on Cape Cod is a simulcast, primarily of talkgroups on the MA State Police trunked radio system, where most of our FD's are for full time ops.

Have fun! If I can help with any ID's drop me a note.

I figure the band opening came as the edge of the storm past the area. Skip time was short. Usually never hear them in Winter-Usually all summer. My low band scanner is PGM for MO, MISS, NEB, for summer, and CA's 39 & 42 for winter. Got everything ready for winter season including an extra low band Channel Master 5094A. Good DX to all. During the last sun spot peak, 11 years ago, I logged military operations in Europe. Cant remember who it was but I've got the list I made buried around here someplace. Most likely the next peak in another 11 years should give us lots to hear. I figure from 2012 thru 2023 should be really good. Good DX to all. Larry
