A two-vehicle crash near Pierce left one person dead and two injured, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The wreck occurred near the intersection of Weld County Roads 90 and 41, about four miles east of Pierce.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Ryan Sullivan said the injuries to the two survivors did not appear to be life threatening.
