On July 7th, 2010 at 012:23 Stations 6 was dispatched for a dwelling fire which included Lionville for an engine, along with Uwchlan Ambulance for Micu 87-6. Chief 6 (N.Shirk) arrived on scene advising units he had heavy smoke with fire showing, and setup "Torrey Pine Command". Engine 6-1 arrived on scene with Deputy 6 (M. Moses) at 12:31 and pulled two lines making an interior attack to push the fire out of the garage so that there was no further extension into the house. Chief 6 asked for the second alarm for the assignment at 12:35 which brought 47 for the balance, along with Ambulance 55 and an Engine from First West Chester. Tower 6 (Lt. K.Miller) crew went to the roof for ventilation as the fire attack crew was putting a stop to the fire. The fire was place under control at 13:04. Station 6 crews cleared at 14:55. Fire Police were on scene to control traffic. Special thanks to Goshen Fire Company for standing by in our station.
