Never mind, back up. Great feed by the way. I can't believe how good KSP sounds on your Uniden.
My 396 had terrible motorboating, so I traded it for a XTS3000. Did the new updates make that big a
difference?

The biggest difference is in the two scanners. The 396 doesn't have the SET AUDIO TYPE feature like the 996 does. I set all my KSP freq's to DIGITAL ONLY and that stops the MOTOR-BOATING.

I bet it recieves alot better too. I tried all kinds of antennas on my 396. I'm probably within 15 miles thru
the air from KSP post 2 Mclean Co, and barely got 1 bar. Very disappointing scanner to me anyway.

I'd check your antenna or something because usually KSP has a transmitter or two in each county.

I know on my 2096 I can pick up KSP Post 4 on my scanner without even an antenna connected to it.

Muhlenburg Co, doesn't have a tower unfortantly. As close as I was to Mclean Co's tower I should've recieved post 2 with no problems.
