If you want to buy a jumbo spot at 3 times the cost, go for it. I hate seeing people get suckered.

Everyone has an opinion, some like yours are seriously uninformed,I’ve had 3 jumbos die, my commander keeps on ticking, do you even own one to be able to make an accurate judgment? If it works and lasts you are not getting suckered, I felt suckered on the Jumbos

I have had my Jumbo spot for 2 years now and have never had any problems with it,sometimes I think its where the mmdvm board comes from that makes or breaks if the hotspot turns out ok or not and i have also found out it take some of a learning curve to get any of these hotspots up and running......

Well, in a way, I do own 3. Since those commanders just use jumbo spots, you are using the same equipment I am. [emoji23] You just paid way too much.

There are a couple of websites that explain the different revision levels of the jumbospots and MMDVM boards out there.

There are green and white circuit boards and a half dozen or more revisions.

If at all possible it could be helpful to identify exactly which boards have lived and continue to provide great service, and those who have died.

Actually he’s making his own boards, anyway I’m totally happy with my purchase and feel it’s money well spent btw no jumbo I’ve seen has PI 3 boards, you have your misguided opinion and I have mine
