I changed 458.875 131.8 from Deprecated to Schools tag based on hearing it yesterday. Maybe that's what caused it.

Thanks for the reply! Did you hear ISU traffic or were you able to determine?

I think it was used by Hancock Field during the band tournament. Heard "Dr B" mentioned, which would correspond to ISU's Marching Band coordinator. I used to hear this during football games for the press box to band leader conversations, but hadn't heard it in recent seasons so I had marked it as Deprecated but it was active yesterday.

Observations and questions...
172.900 TSA P25 repeater at BMI. Infrequently used but can be heard throughout the twin cities. Anybody know the input freq or decode the NAC? Probably 169.300.
469.2625 186.2 store in area of Normal WalMart that sells Deluxe EZ BowMaker. Mentioned front counter and loss prevention
154.600 118.8 heard briefly on Black Friday near Normal WalMart. Sells ottomons.
467.850 97.4 hotel in same area. Both English and Spanish used.

From what a BMI employee told me, the TSA channel used is a simplex system, but I still have yet to hear it for myself. If I do I'll post the NAC.
Thanks for the updates cubn!

If the TSA is simplex, it's got incredible range. I could pick it up by WalMart in Normal on a 396 with an 800 mhz stubby antenna. Thanks for the NAC research.

Hmmm...if that's the case then maybe it's not simplex? I'll listen a little closer.

Here's a new mystery for the B/n area.

460.950 mhz./ 146.2 pl.
This is a strong repeater with users on inversion scrambling.

No license in the db for this either.

Here's yet another mystery.
The Bpd's former dispatch repeater is now transmitting a carrier without audio every 5 seconds with a dpl of 331. The former tone was a pl of 127.3
Nothing in the db as far as a new license for this freq with that dpl.
??

Is it still going on? Do you ever hear voice or data? I would guess they're converting the repeater to LTR except for the fact there's a dpl present. Which freq: 453.150 or 460.125?

I got to hear that tonight. Strange. I'm seen telemetry data blips transmitted like that but not that frequently. Could it be be automated for signal strength testing? They should know where the dead spots are after BPD used it for years.

From Hershey and College I heard 467.875 DCS432 which is a common Borders freq. Why would this be used? Borders closed and when they were opened, they used 467.875 67.0.
