What is Emergency Operations on Ottawa trunk

I see there is an Emergency Operation one talkgroup that is partially encrypted. Is that talkgroup in use or only during big operations ?

More than likely you are correct. I would imagine it would have something to do with Emergency Management or the Office of Emergency Management for the City of Ottawa.

The De that is listed on that talkgroup could also be in error but could be used for intermobility purposes too. The best way to find out is to set your scanner or DSDPlus to record and see what you get back if its indeed active. I would imagine they would do some monthy/weekly/daily testing on those TG's but I could be wrong.
