What is Frequency Type RM vs. BM

Hi All. Could someone explain to me the difference between FREQ. TYPE RM vs. BM? Thanks All.

Simply put, RM means it's a repeater. BM means it is base and mobile in simplex mode.

RM and BM are not freq type but equiptment type RM is repeatered. It's telling how the freq is used (repeatered or simplex).
