Sorry for the dumb question, but I am just getting started in this hobby.
In the database of frequencies the columns of some output show the following ...

Entity Callsign Frequency Units Pag CODE Svc City

What is the PAG column stand for.
Most of the time I see a 1 or a 20 in it?

PAG is short for Pagers. How many paging receivers associated with the frequency.

In reality, it's a useless stat and most public safety licensees don't even bother filling that box out on the application. The FCC is concerned with transmitters, not receivers. Yes, it does serve a technical purpose, which is that it's supposed to help establish the need for a frequency when applying for a license. The number of Units is a much more telling stat, as that indicates how many transmitters or transceivers are licensed.
