Thank you I have a 13.8volt 750 MA the current seems to LOW12 Volt Dc @ 1 Amp works great.
Would some please post the OUTPUT of the OEM AC power adapter for a BCD536HP
Need voltage and Current (amps) PLEASE
Thanks
13.8v / 750mA should be sufficient if it is well-regulated. What supply are you using? Is it AD-1009 or something else?Thank you I have a 13.8volt 750 MA the current seems to LOW
I've used an adapter with the same specs on my 536. It seemed fine but I'll measure it later just to confirm the amperage draw.Thank you I have a 13.8volt 750 MA the current seems to LOW
Hi Could I run ONE BCD536 off a 5 amp supply at 12 volts ???That is what my factory PS shows. I would use a VOM and measure the Current draw of the 536 as I run 6 536's off of a 12 Volt DC 5 Amp PS.
That's what I have AD-1009 the display doesn't seem very bright must be the LED'sThe AC adapter supplied with the BCD536hp is an 13.8V, 750mA AC adapter. The equivalent OEM adapter is AD-1009 from Uniden.

Right that's what I have been told Thanks !A higher amp output is fine as long as the input voltage is correct (13.8). The scanner will pull as much amperage as it needs. Its better to have to much amperage available rather than not enough. Think of it like a car engine 4 cylinders may be fine but its better to have V8 hemi LOL.
