what kind antenaa do you use listening HF with pcr1500?

I can't find a suitable antenna for HF monitoring with pcr1500?

I got the R2500 and I use the LF Engineering H-800 skymatch active antenna for HF and it pull the signals in very well.

I don't have any direct experience with the new Icoms, but I would bet the PAR end fed SWL antenna would work quite well; you can build something like it yourself with a coax fed wire (I'd keep the length down to around 50 foot or so) using a magnetic longwire balun(sometimes also referred to as a 9:1 balun) . Our HF Antennas wiki has some ideas along this line, and the shortwave antenna Yahoo group (also linked there) has plans on how to build your own. Much less expensive than the current H900 active, for sure
