What VHF Low Band skip can be heard in Ontario?

For west coast you could try 33.420. Sammamish advisory radio located in King County, Washington. WQJW689 is still licensed although I have not heard it in the past 10 years. Maybe it's still broadcasting.

I do not know. There are two FCC licenses for VHF low band but those freqs are not listed in the RR database. Probably better to ask in this Washington Radio Discussion Forum

What is everyone using for antennas? Outdoor discone? Eventually I will put up a discone. I typically use my 2m whip.

I am using a ST-2 Scantenna with RG-6 satellite cable up 20' above the roof line.
