What's mode FMN? and PL Tones

I see there's some updates to the counties I scan, so I printed them off and noticed a couple Modes of FMN - do I just put that in as FM on RS PRO-96?

Also - if I'm manually entering a new frequency, and it has a PL Tone number assigned to it also, how do I enter in that Tone? Say, Frequency 155.14500 with a PL Tone of 91.5.

#1 - yes.
#2 - press PGM -> FUNC + MODE then UP or DOWN to the desired CT/DC then ENTER.

2. I got that far, putting in the frequency and changing the mode to CT, but I don't know how to then put in the PL tone number of 91.5 in this example.

I've posted in the general/specific forums before, and they referred me to post in the Michigan forum because that's where I am located. I guess I could try it again and see if I get an answer over there.

on the pro-96 when you hear traffic on that channel, if you have not entered the PL # yet, just hit <enter> and it will save it
you do have to make sure it is set to CT and not FM.
