When I go into close call mode, I will get a hit full strength but no audio, and is it normal to stop on DMR channels and sit on the same frequency for a while, still no audio but the RSSI-90dBm?

1. As this is a close call question (only on Uniden scanners) you might get better responses in the Uniden Forum. Just click on report (lower left corner of post) and ask for it to be moved.
2. What scanner are you using and do you have any upgrades (DMR. NXDN, Pro Voice)
3. How do you know they are DMR channels.
4. Where are u and what system/frequencies would help also.

When my SDS100 is in close call mode, it will pick up a signal but there is no audio? I have the DMR key and was wondering why it will stop on a DMR frequency for a while before moving on. There is a RSSI-90dBm? and no audio.

A few possibilities. Could be a control channel or even a Cap+ rest channel which sends out a data burst every few seconds for instance. Press the avoid key twice if you want to permanently avoid it. Have you searched your state's identified frequencies database to see if it's known to RR?

I don't want to avoid it I was just wondering if this was normal for the DMR channels to do this?
