Amateur Radio General Discussion forum is this? I didn't think I needed to specify ham radio equipment on this forum. Okay, give me a list of currently produced handheld radios intended for AMATUER RADIO USE that have AA battery cases other than the UV-5 radios.

Touche' for spending time to look that up. The three cell packs for the high dollar radios drop the power pretty low, but I imagine sales of those are pretty low. I had Icom radios that used the cases that the HTX radios used. Six and eight cell packs for long camping and backpacking trips.
