When is KHP going encrypted?

So I’m traveling across ks and am only hearing dispatch on troop F disp. Scanner hadn’t been programmed in a few years. Are the tg’s on the DB current? Not sure which tg I need to hear both sides of the convo?

I hear both dispatch to car and car to dispatch.
Odd. Traveling on i35 thru Sedgwick county I could only hear dispatch on Troop F Dispatch. I did not have troop F dispatch 2 programmed in tho.
It worked last time but was like a year or two ago

Yeah, that's werid, what kind of scanner? Although I don't think that hearing only one side would be a symptom of simulcast distortion.

Dispatch 2 gets a lot of use btw, might want to program that in.

Here in Cowley County, I will only hear dispatch when they are talking to the metro units. I'm unsure if the KSICS metro channels are utilized, make sure you have the Sedgwick County P25 system loaded to receive their traffic.

To the best of my knowledge, they are no longer used.
