What about maybe a vent mount for a cell phone, then turn the mount horizontal so it clamps the sides of the control head ?
usually the vent mounts arent strong enough and they always fall off the vents. Where can you buy a gps holder that sticks on the dashboard ive seen people using these for there gps's.

Well, you didn't tell us what kind of car you have, so no idea what will fit it.

You'll need to figure this out. There are companies that make brackets that go under trim and then you use the AMPS mount hole pattern to attach this:

Or, you get the above mount and use a Ram ball with the high bonding tape.

Or you get this mount and you stick the little pad to the dash and attach the suction cup mount:

Or you do the cup holder mount:

But unless you tell us what kind of vehicle you have, we're all running blind here.

Maybe something like this could be modified to work ? Yaesu ft-7800 & ft-7900 remote fascia mount
This is the proper mount for the Yaesu FT-7900 control head. It can be mounted directly to a dash or other structure. I have had one mounted to a faux wood-grain dash with 3M double sided mounting tape, mounted to the top of a dash with a stick-on mount and currently attached to the dash of my truck with a bracket from ProClip USA. It has, in the past, supported an FT-7900, an FTM-100DR and is now currently supporting the control head of an FTM-500DR. These brackets are also available on Amazon.

So, what exactly are you looking for?
Just the mounting for the control head, or some way to attach it to your car?
im looking to mount the control head right on my dashboard in front of me which right now it is mounted on velcro but the velcro wont hold it good.

Ah, OK, got it. Misunderstood.

Looks like someone linked to the part you need above.
Ideally, screws will hold it well permanently. Or one of the mounts linked to above.
Or, 3M "VHB" very high bonding double sided tape. But heat may not be conducive to it lasting very long.

Usually velcro/double sided tape becomes an issue if in an accident, but those control heads are pretty light. I'd not get hung up on it.

where they make the cheese
I used GE silicone sealant to glue the factory 7900 head mount to a ledge front and center on the dash
had tried VHB tape, but every day my wife would text me "radio on the floor again"
the silicone sealant peels right clean off

This velcro works, I fought the cheap stuff of quite a while before I discovered this, it works. Holds the head of my ID4100A and hasn't let go.

Yeah, that’s the same stuff I already have and it will not hold the control head on the dashboard for some reason my dashboard I don’t know what is with my dash board but it won’t hold that it seems like in my old car that Velcro would actually work and it would actually hold the control head on the dashboard, but this car I’ve got now that same Velcro is not working. I don’t know why.

The other problem is i dont have the control head mount anymore. All i have is the remote head not the mount that most of these holders require me to have to be able to be able to even mount the control head on them. Will adhesive tape maybe if i put it on the bottom of the head and use this instead of the velcro ive been using because it wont hold it on my dash the sticky part of the velcro wont even stick to my dashboard idk what to do to mount this thing.
