Where to start with SDR?

Hello.

I want to try this SDR stuff out and don't know where to start.

I want to use my RS st-2 antenna. I have a F type or BNC connector on the RG-6.

my question is witch SDR be the best/easiest to work with and a link to buy.

these are the systems that i can going to be monitoring.
Lincoln-Lancaster County Trunking System, Lincoln, Nebraska - Scanner Frequencies
Nebraska State Radio System Trunking System, Statewide, Nebraska - Scanner Frequencies
