Give us more info.

What type of antenna do you have ?

Have you programmed the trunked freqs as prescribed in the RR Database ?

Can you detect a signal on the control channel ? If not, then the answer is no. You're to far away.

Macon/Bibb is a mixed mode 3600 baud system if not 100% digital by now...The Pro-95 will not decode the digital xmits. If analog is still in use, you should be able to receive some stuff provided you are getting the Ct channel.

Macon PD

I'm not using anything other than the antenna that came on it. I have programmed the trunked frequencies and I get a garbled sound from 855.23750, and i can seee which talk groups are xmitting.

Greetings from Lagrange.

I travel that way every month or two. Macon City PD is digital 3600-baud. Only a digital scanner can receive Macon PD Dispatch and other digital talkgroups.
Some of Macon PD TAC channels remain analog.

Bibb County Sheriff is all analog. Please click on the Bibb County list and then the Macon/Bibb Co Trunked System for more info.

Good luck and take care....and Happy New Year,
Julian

Link to this site's database. The list shows two analog talkgroups for Control 1 and Control 2. These are no longer used. All Macon PD Dispatch is digital.

Hope this helps. Please write if you have any more quesitons.

Best Regards,
Julian

They have been digital for some time. I figured out a lot of their talkgroups and lost all that data when my big computer died from some bad caps. I thought it was my RAID array and I wiped it before I oufnd out it was a major hardware issue.

I may do it all over again some day.
