Which 1 is best

I've been looking at both since last night on eBay and I can't make my mind up lol .

Either the bcd996p2 or the whistler that looks like the Grecom PSR-600

Can't afford new that's why im looking at used .

I would get the 996P2. Newer technology, upgradeable to DMR & NXDN, and there is more software support. I recommend ProScan.

just remember whistler will not do NXDN or DMR trunking. Go with the 996p2. If you live in a simulcast area then your best bet is a SDS 200.
