152.975 Heard them now a couple years. They have mentioned delivering oil. Towns mentioned are Clinton, Fairfield, Albion & Skowhegan. The FCC database has a listing for Webber Oil Co. in Bangor but the call letters listed are weird and the entire listing makes no sense to me. I have never heard a morse id either. Thanks!

They have an office in Skowhegan, so could be who your hearing..they have several facilities in Maine according to their webpage...Odd though,, can't find that frequency in FCC DB

If theres any doubt about who you hear-do what I do. It may take time, but if you really want to know who it is, just devote 1 scanner to whom you are tuned in on. You have to listen closely. Sooner or later they will say something about a delivery in your area. When they say they are coming, dont rush, trucks go slow.If it is an address you know-ask the occupant. I recently tried getting an entity that is ltr. Boy, the fun I had sepparating them. Well, this 1 entity said they were all done at a certain pizza joint. I called that place asking who it was that I saw -and how good are they? Well, after a little white lie-I got the guy to tell me who was there. Remember-if you turn your back-they will chat. It all comes down to how badly do you want to know who it is. Course-down here in York County, I got Strafford County-Rockingham and York all getting my attention. When it comes to public safety-in N.H they call 10-4 10-5 in N.H terms. Thats a good clue for me-but you got 10-4 all day long.. Well, best of luck. Listen-and you will hear. May take some time,but how bad do you want to know whats what.
Out of boredom i located a Community repeater on that Freq.....its in the middle of there area....Also Look under Dead river company.....they have a lot of license's and its there parent company.......... And notice that license is mobile only 5 watts...........

The 6.1 meter rule (90.119 b) means that control stations with an antenna less than 6.1 m (20') above ground can be located anywhere in the licensed area of operation (like a mobile station) and do not need the latitude/longitude coordinates listed for each control station the way base stations and repeaters do.

Yes, but it is only licensed for mobiles on 152.975..other licenses I found were in the 454.xxx range
.
I saw some other Highband repeater freqs from there parent company. the mobile only might be a left over from the old days where mobiles had one license and base had another..things get forgotten and life goes on. Now being bought up by the other might see them sharing channels
