which scanner is better(NOW THIS SHOULD BE GOOD!!)

Ok folks i have a pro-95 right now and it is a good scanner but would like to upgrade to a digital one as there is now a lot of digital in my area. Which one is the best to use up here in Elkhart Indiana area? The state is on the safe-t system and is one of the first to reband does this impact this in anyway. also what is the real difference in continuous band 25-1300 in the uniden or how the shack has theirs set up. All comments appreciated. Thanks for all of everybody's input. :roll: :shock:

There are already a LOT of posts on this topic.

...but, I will add that I prefer Uniden. I have a 796d, and it works great. The only thing that I don't really like about it is the requirement to "tune" the digital signal. Once you have it good, you don't have to worry about it anymore (the scanner saves your tuning per band) unless you goto a different system or something.
