Whistler 1080 and NYC?

I'm considering jumping from my 396 to the 1080 for the Phase 2. I'm wondering what's on the database for NYC area? Does it include every possible entry from the RR database for NYC? Or is it a more abbreviated version of the area and I'll have to add the finer details via software?

It's my understanding that the EZ Scan software contains the entire RR Database for the USA. Also, if you're interested, before you purchase the WS1080 you can go to Whistler's web site and download and install the EZ Scan software. Then you can play around with it and see for yourself what it can do and what kind of learning curve you will have. You could even get a handle on how you'll want to set it up when you finally do buy one.
