Whistler 1080 Case

I recently purchased a 1080 and am looking for a rugged leather case for this radio. Here is a website with literally hundreds of cases but none really designed for this radio. Does anyone know if the dimensions of this radio compare to any of the listed HTs or scanners on the left side of the page. It may be possible to fit a case from one of these radios with a little tweeking.

I use my old PSR800 nylon case for my 1080.... There are leather cases for the 700 which is, I believe, the same size. Mine came from Scannermaster (a friend of RR.com)

It's pretty stiff, not like the photo of it. The inside front button/metal doesn't touch the speaker grill and hasn't damaged it like other cases. I've had it since last Sept in 2014 and it's still holding up very well.

I have the Scannermaster one, it's ok, but I needed to do some trimming on it to be able to put the antenna on with a struggle and I also added clearance around the squelch knob. It's not a "pretty" case, but it should save it if I drop it, and that's all I care about.

ws1080 case

sorry i gave wrong info in my earlier post. i have the scannermaster leather case for the 1080 and find it to be excellent quality.the fit is good except just a bit tight at the miniusb output jack.
