So I imported a Trunking system which has several Cell sites but when I go to scan the system the radio does not scan all of the cell sites. It only scans site 1.

This also happens on my WS-1080 and WS-1095.

Does anybody know how to fix it? Everything is programmed right.

I just do not want to have to manually program 1 site per 1 system. There has to be a way to get the radio to scan all of the sites within a system.

Thanks

The radio is designed to find and hold on the site that meets the decode thresholds. If you program more than one site into/as a single system (this is the standard/default), are stationary, and getting a solid decode on a site, the radio won't (by default) check/scan the other sites.

If you want to scan multiple sites (assuming you can receive more than one site from your location), the best option is to "duplicate" the system, only enable one site within each copy of the system, and assign each site and talkgroups to different scanlists. This way, the radio will scan each of the sites (scanlists) that you have enabled.

Thanks. This all makes sense. It's strange when you import from RR and when you have mutiple sites in 1 system everything gets imported in pretty much the same way as the Uniden Radios. I guess that's why I have a Uniden and the Whistler Radios. Each radio manufacturer has their own bells and whistles and designs.
