sorry guys just gets me that citites keep buying new radios and when was the last time DFD bought a truck. Maybe they will go back to the old system when DNC is over, Dave # 5

With all the expense and time put into setting up the ESK option I seriously doubt they will flip back after a special event scenario. The exception will be situations where the old Mt Morrison site is used as a backup . It's only a matter of time before GRE and Uniden get on board with ESK adaptability with their analog trunking scanners.

It's just another history repeating moment. We went through this back in 1992/1993 with Denver, Arvada and Westminster going EDACS before the the first EDACS capable scanner the BC245XLT.

u are right of course I guess the switch over is in early in July so we will see.
