why cant i hear

hello i was listening to the live audio delaware state police on the computer and had my 996 scanning and cannot hear the same as when the computer scanner comes on wandering why cant i hear this on my 996 this dosent seem rite whats up with this please help thanks

There is a delay listening to the www feed due to the latency of the internet. I seem to remember it's about a 8 sec delay.

I don't monitor DSP but it is possible that along with Dave's explanation that the 996 was following a conversation on one TG while the internet scanner was following a different TG. (I'm assuming that they have several active TG's......)
