Today was very busy in the Owasso area. Multiple fires were worked within 5 miles of the house. Thanks to the brave men & women firefighters from all the different departments and agencies, none got closer than a couple of miles. Plus don't let me forget about the many different law enforcement agencies and reserve officers that were involved with the evacuation, traffic control, and manhunt for the suspected person or persons who may have set these fires. God speed you in your task to bringing the responsible party to justice.
I know I will probably leave en agency out, but here are some of the ones that I was able to ID:
Owasso, Turley, Sperry, Colllinsvile (Municipal & Rural), Skiatook, Tulsa, Ramona, Limestone, Black Dog, and at least one helicopter tanker (didn't catch any air to ground traffic, I saw it skimming the trees around 96th St N & Memorial).
Law enforcement included:
Owasso, Sperry, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, OHP, Collinsville, Rogers County Sheriff's Office, and Washington County Sheriff's Office.
I am sure I failed to mention someone. What I want to make sure I don't fail to do is express my deepest appreciation to all the brave men & women who risk their life and limb to protect their neighbors. Again, Thank You.
