Been hearing a lot of aircraft activity on 156.060 giving locations,and overflights concerning wildfires.Did not hear the land transmission,just the aircraft.
Also,just a minute ago,he just landed at Davis Field(KMKO),did'nt catch the tail # on 122.800,but sounds like a spotter aircraft.
Anybody else hearing him?

This is a fire spotter aircraft.

I have been listening to them checking out certain areas today,just north of Okema.One possible "plume" turned out to be a dust cloud.

Still cannot hear any of the ground transmissions,just the pilot.

Yep, I've heard them too. They are on some other frequencies as well. What I've heard has been LEAD plane talking to the Air Tanker type traffic.

I'm hearing Air Attack 6-Alpha-Bravo talking to Tanker 188 and Tanker 481. Going to coord: N36.44.57 W96.16.17 (This is the Pawhuska area) on 123.025 aka "Victor". Enjoy. Tower traffic on 124.000

Drops, and other good stuff for this mission can be heard on 133.925. Enjoy.

Twobravo;

From what I can tell,this is CAP operations,Call signs I am hearing are: Capflight 3557,Capflight 3530,Capflight 3527.......Also,Shawnee Relay.

So,the CAP freqs should also be buzzing.

Really interesting flight comms.They have been flying OK/Kansas border,then,down the OK/AR border.
Got the pro-2004 wired into the PC with Xcorder running most of the day.

O-DOT frequencies

The wildlife Department has been using a 151.130MHzTransportation Department repeater in central Oklahoma since they do not have any repeaters of their own in this area.
Using this repeater, they can reach the aircraft over a large area of the state. I beleive the repeater inputs on 156.060MHz, but I'm not sure.
These are direct communications with the Incident Command Post in Shawnee.
