Just heard transmission of tanker headed out of Amarillo toward Taos Zone.

In the far NE corner of state. Cannot receive any traffic other than Taos Zone Command.

That looked like quite a fire Friday afternoon.

I was driving my granddaughter out to Eldorado for an appointment with her math tutor, and the smoke plume was so big that I could have sworn it was burning somewhere nearby, such as Pecos. The next morning I read that it was 'way up beyond Clayton more than 150 miles away!
