I've submitted some updates for Travis County Fire as well as ATCEMS. Not new TGs but updated usage information. Also some updates for the smaller PDs that are dispatched by TCSO.

I also discovered that TG 3522 which is listed as DPS for Austin is also used for Williamson and likely Bastrop Counties.

It took me some time to figure out how what I call Automated Mutual Aid (not the official name) works in Travis and adjacent counties. AFD goes into parts of Williamson, some of the Williamson ESDs respond into Travis (and Burnet). Travis ESDs go into adjacent counties as well. It's all determined based on AVL data from the vehicles and mapping the incident address. It makes sense to send the closest apparatus do the call no matter which city or county the incident is located in.

Much different than where I used to live, but it makes sense. More than a little bit of a learning curve, though.
Just a couple of tidbits that may provide clarity for cross county activity. Forgive me if you already know this:

- There is a big chunk of Austin in Williamson and a little piece in Hays.
- There's a somewhat unique situation down in Hays and Caldwell Counties. There is an ESD that covers much of north Caldwell and the border cities of Niederwald and Uhland, that contracts with Travis County Fire & Rescue (i.e. ESD 11). Stations 1108 and 1109 are physically in Hays County, and 1107 is in Caldwell. TCFR operationally treats ESD 11 and the Caldwell/Hays ESD 1 as a single fire department and responds as such.

It took me a while to figure that out, to the extent I have it figured out. :)

The stretch along 620 is particularly confusing as I can be in RR, then CP, then Austin, then out in Travis County, then Lakeway. As you note parts of Austin are in Williamson, parts of Cedar Park are in Travis. There's a small part of Pflugerville in Williamson and a small part of Hutto in Travis. That last part is because PfISD and HISD did a territory swap.

IIRC, part of Bee Cave and part of Dripping Springs are both in Hays.

Part of Elgin is in Travis. Part of Delvalle is in Bastrop.

No wonder they need a computer to sort it all out.

I can usually hear Hays on LCRA if I'm in my truck and occasionally at home as well. I hear ESD 11 units going into Hays frequently. Some of the ESDs cover very large areas without much population.

I'm still learning things and how to navigate the area, but at least I don't still need Waze to go to the CVS a half mile from my house any longer.

Like any other user supported database, the information is only as current as users make it. It's been fun and challenging trying to figure all of this out, and of course once I started to get a handle on it, Wilco started to rearrange all of the FD TGs.

What an excellent response. Thank you very much. I didn't realize folks were still trying to update this page. It is good to know others are diligent in their efforts.

The post you quoted is from April and there have been several updates to the RRDB for Wilco since then. I've been using DSD+ to find the changes and sent in several submissions to the RRDB for GATTRS in both Williamson and Travis.

TCSO dispatches Manor PD on the East TG, and Sunset Valley PD on the West TG. I'm still working on figuring out some of the others.
I have been keeping up with those. Thanks.
