Win 500 Audio/Recording

When I select the options to Record Audio, I am not getting a audio file created in the folder I have designated. My log file is created there though. I am able to hear audio going through my computer speakers.

Is there something addition I need to do.

You need to make sure that recording is enabled for every conventional channel and talkgroup. The option should appear on the right-hand side under CONV and TSYS tabs. By default, recording is disabled.

Is it enabled and a location selected under the monitor/control tab? When you press Start does it start creating audio files?

If your only connection to the PC is usb, you will get nothing. Scanner to soundcard is also needed. Been there done that twice

The OP's "I am able to hear audio going through my computer speakers." sounds like there is more than the USB connection.

Thanks, guys, it did start working later after I enabled the recording.
