I can't offer much...it installed on Windoze 10 for me without any problems. Dug out my activation key and I was in business. Maybe try booting into Safe Mode and see if it will load and install then?

Try right clicking the install program and click run as administrator then right click the start program and run as administrator.

I am running WIN500 on Windows 10, but had a lot of issues. I think my final issue has to do with the "Virus Protection" software I am using causing "delays' when doing certain things. But it is usable.

I run Win500 on Windows 7.... but a few years ago my computer automatically upgraded itself to Windows 10 (that's another thread by itself) and Win500 ran just fine. No problems here.....


(I eventually re-installed Windows 7 because I absolutely hated Windows 10 for other reasons.)
