I just paid for win97 don sent me a code now it says "The key you entered is already expired. Please enter a new key." does anyone know if I have to pay the $25 again to get the right one I have send Don many e-mail and he will not answer my e-mail can anyone help me

It may take Don S. a little time to correct your problem but from personal experience if you have already payed for your key he will make it good. He gets A LOT of S2#5! from people here and in my opinion it's unwarranted. He will get back to you if you have contacted him correctly.

Registering your WIN97 product requires two things:

NAME: (should be exactly 62 characters long in the format Don sent you)

KEY: ????-????-????-????

Is that how you did it? If you entered only a key it will not work.

yes I did what the email said when I first copied and pasted it worked then I closed it the next day it told me the key had expired and got this message (The key you entered is already expired. Please enter a new key.)

My friend brought to my attention that the name field is not always the same length for obvious reasons. I guess I was thinking he truncated it when it became longer.

It sounds as if Don may have assigned you a temporary key for some reason.
