Win99 help

Maybe it's just me, but I can't find the answer to this anywhere. I use this scanner primarily for race listening, and need to update my freqs for the coming year (darn them and their 3 million driver / team / number changes). I just downloaded Win99 and need to know if I should change the info under the Preloads tab or the Channels tab. I had to manually input all my info at Homestead (I'd bought the scanner 2 days before), and when I switched back and forth between the pre-loads, all my changes would disappear. I'm having trouble making sense of the scanner manual (I'm a total newbie, never used a scanner before), and would love some help, or at least a nudge in the right help direction. Thanks all!!

If you have things programmed into the scanner, download from the scanner. Then save the file.

Then you can make changes and additions and upload them to the scanner. (Save them in a file too.)

Oh - to the channels.
