Just picked up a Pro-99 at Radio Shack for $49.99. Now I can't get Win99 software run on the desktop or laptop computers. Both of them are new in the last year and running Windows XP. Keep getting a error message "Dll may be missing, corrupt or wrong version file winxx common.dll, error 126".

All other Win products run on both computers. Thanks for the help in advance.

After downloading the ZIP file, you need to extract the files it contains to a single location (folder) on your hard drive. Typically, this would be a new folder that you create. For example: “C:\Program Files\Win99”.

The ZIP archive contains these files:

· Win99.exe The Win99 program. This is the file you “run”.

· Win99Help.chm This help file.

· WinXXCommon.dll A library shared by all of the WinXX programs, so that their “look and feel” stays constant

Thanks TES it worked. I didn't have any problems with win 92, 95, 96, or 97. I guess that it would be too easy if everything worked right the first time.

Thanks again,
Larry
