Gov.Mike Pence will be signing a executive order today Mon 1/6/14 for 27 counties in Indiana to be declared state of emergency More counties may be added. Indiana State Police, Indiana National guard, Indiana Department of Homeland Security and The Indiana Department of Highways are working together. The State Emergency Operations Center was opened on Sunday 1-5-14 at 7AM by the Gov. I-65 from Clinton County to Lake County to I-80/I-94 has been closed. ISP Dist 14 Lafayette Post and ISP Dist 13 Lowell Post is locating people stranded in cars, trucks taking them to hotels and evacuation centers. Indianapolis Power and Light Company has 30,425 customers off the power grid and most of those customers" will not have power restored until Thursday 1-9-14.Hendricks County Power has 31 customers off line, AEP Indiana and Michigan Power has a total of 2,762 customers of line from 5 counties in Indiana that AEP provides power to. INDOT has 840 snow plows on roads statewide. 22 roads closed, Indiana National Guard has 12 Armories and teams, Indiana State Police has had over 2,000 calls with 300 Troopers on duty.
