Last summer I caught some active taxi cab frequencies in Wisconsin Dells but when we went back there on vacation recently those frequencies were quiet. I'm wondering if the cab companies changed frequencies or if they've gone over to Computer Aided Dispatch like cabs here in the Chicago area? Does anyone have any info?

The taxis in the Dells area use tablets on the cellular network for dispatching and AVL. Baraboo, Reedsburg, Portage and Tomah still use a radio channel to supplement the tablets.
The other thing you may have picked up is hotel or casino shuttles many of these have gone digital recently.
