Your post is vague and potentially misleading. That is an old coverage map of the state's old low speed data system. With the installation of the new high speed system, coverage gaps have been filled in and there are far fewer coverage holes than pictured at this point. While there are some local agencies that use our system, it's primary use is by the State Patrol and DNR.

If its so misleading then why does the State Patrol still have the coverage map up on the state website?

Talk to the web geeks...it's not up to me to update it. You will find a lot of data on a lot of state web sites is outdated. I guess nobody cares.

Why would the state have coverage problems in the Haven area?
The 280 ft tower used by the State just west of Plymouth sits on one of the highest elevations in Sheboygan County, 1,205 ft.
