About 15 minutes ago, around 19:45 I heard New Jersey State Police Marine units get dispatched on 10 comm for a woman dangling from the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia. I waited to post to see if it was a founded call or not.

Police are out with the woman and all available resources from the fire department, Coast Guard, etc have been dispatched and are on their way.

Okay, she has been pulled to safety. PFD Marine units and NJSP Marine units resuming. That's a pretty high bridge, 135 ft from the roadway to the river, had she gone into the Delaware it wouldn't have ended well. Glad to see she was rescued.

Alot of people go up on the pedestrian walkway and jump. I seen many pictures of the outcomes, especially when they land on Delaware Ave. I also seen videos of people bouncing as they hit the ground. I'm surprised that there isnt higher fencing along the walkways.

Yeah Ben Franklin has a history, not like the Golden Gate Bridge but it's been popular over the years, I have Burlington Bristol bridge near me, also Trenton has three Bridges, the most popular for jumpers is the Trenton makes, the world takes Bridge.

Glad this had a good outcome. I monitor Philly's J band, the Coast Guard also but the New Jersey State Police Marine dispatch 10 comm never disappoints
