I'm new to scanning, so be gentle.

I set up my new WS1040 with PSR-500/600 software and imported my local counties (Calhoun and Carroll in Iowa) bands and created a few for the Iowa State Patrol. I am not receiving anything.

I have attached a screenshot of the objects that have been uploaded to the scanner.

TIA

What you posted looks okay. Have you Enabled ScanList 1 on the General Settings Tab of Win500? Do you see the #1 in the top left hand corner of your scanner screen?

You won't receive Iowa State Patrol on those channels. They have been deprecated. they have moved to ISICS, but your scanner can't do P25 Phase II, so it's not going to work for ISP.

As previously stated, ISP has joined the ISICS system as well as pretty much every other state agency and many local agencies.

Given your rural locations listed, I suggest disabling CTCSS / DCS to see if you hear anything. It is possible that those counties have also begun transitioning to ISICS as well. I believe both Carroll and Calhoun counties were planning to switch to avoid becoming a communications island.
