Does Whistler include a 1080 programming manual or disc with the new model.....

Just got my new WS1080 today. It does not have a disc, has a start here guide and a owners manual. Have not got far enough into it to see if it has anything about programming in manual.

I do all of my programming with EZScan which has good documentation via the help function.

Yes, they give you a couple of small manuals in the box but there's no disc that goes with it for the EZScan Software to begin with. THAT is on the MicroSD card where you can go into it on Windows and run the program. I have a copy of the EZScan software on a USB drive but they DO have the manual AND EZScan software downloads on the Website too.

The 1080 comes with no batteries,no wallwart,no cd.

It has a book and quick start guide.


The 800 came with batteries,at least mine did!
